We make strategic investments that create lasting positive impacts in the communities we serve. Our goal is to be a trusted community partner around the globe.
We empower our employees to be good neighbors and a positive influence in the world. Through our programs, they can support efforts in their own communities or around the globe and by leveraging matching from the Lumen Clarke M. Williams Foundation, they can increase the impact of their volunteer time and financial donations.
Lumen embraces a culture of inclusion. Our Diversity Steering Committee shapes and drives our overall diversity strategy, such as encouraging diversity in our recruiting and outreach initiatives.
Lumen’s Employer Information Report (“EEO-1 Report”) is a report that Lumen is required to file with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The job categories we are required to include in the EEO-1 Report are broad and do not directly align with our functional organizations or job classification structure. It does, however, capture some of our employee gender and race/ethnicity data. Despite its limitations, we believe publication of this data is an important step toward increasing transparency, expanding awareness of workforce demographics, and supporting further discussions around diverse representation. The EEO-1 Report provides insight into Lumen’s diverse U.S. employee population overall. Annual publication of this report is one of many ways we will share the progress of Lumen’s human capital management story.
