You can always make changes to your Let’s Encrypt certificates, but remember that the changes won’t be reflected until you promote a configuration referencing the certificate to production. To update a Let's Encrypt certificate, select one of the options in the Actions column for the certificate.
- Regenerate LE—use this option to submit changes to a certificate (e.g., adding SANs). These changes follow the same progressions as requesting a new certificate, but under the same name you provided when creating the original request. If you regenerate a Let’s Encrypt certificate before the original certificate is obtained and active, Media portal overwrites the information on the Current tab (in the certificate details) with your changes. If you request changes for an active certificate, Media portal places the details on the Pending tab until you promote a configuration (to production) referencing the certificate or until you regenerate the certificate and overview the information. Once you promote a configuration referencing the certificate, Media portal transfers the information from the Pending tab to the Current tab.

- Re-Issue—use this option to revoke a certificate and replace it with a new certificate using the same certificate name you originally provided. Media portal makes the changes immediately in production. You don't need to promote a configuration to production.

- Delete—use this option to delete a certificate you no longer need (provided it's not referenced on a configuration in production or in a state that doesn't allow you to delete it). Media portal automatically deletes unreferenced certificates as part of a daily cleanup process. Once a certificate is deleted, you need to request a new one.
