Lumen help
As a Control Center system administrator, you can re-enroll the two-factor authentication (2FA) for users in your organization. Typically, you re-enroll a user's 2FA if they have trouble authenticating, need to reinstall their authentication app, or if they want to change devices used for authentication.
If you need to change devices associated with your Lumen Control Center two-factor authentication or if you experience problems with your 2FA, you can re-enroll two-factor authentication for your user profile.
As a Control Center system administrator, you can add two-factor authentication (2FA) to a user's profile so the user can view and manage Lumen security services.
To increase the security of your Control Center user profile, you can add two-factor authentication Adding two-factor authentication to your user profile means you'll enter a six-digit code from an authenticator app after you type your username and password.
For security, you should periodically request firmware updates for the network cards associated with your Encrypted Wavelength service.
You manage the card passwords for your Encrypted Wavelength service according to your organization's security policies. You can use the same password for both cards or different passwords for each card.
You can update the shared authentication key for a given card pair as needed (or according to your organization's security policies). The network cards use the authentication key to authenticate each other every time they negotiate a new crypto session key.
Learn how to replace the initial passwords for your cards (set by Lumen). You can use the same password for both cards or different passwords for each card.
For an Encrypted Wavelength service, you can view the history of changes to the cards on your service including when the change was made, who made the change, what type of change was made, what cards were affected by the change, and the status of the change requested.
Using Network Visibility (within Control Center), you can view topology information for Lumen wavelength services.: view a map of the working and protected (if applicable) paths for your service.
Use Control Center to manage Lumen Encrypted Wavelength services. Once your service is set up, you need to set the initial passwords for your network cards. From there, you can manage the card passwords, set the authentication key, and update card firmware, and view a log of changes to your service.
