Adding contacts for your organization

In Control Center, you can add contacts for your organization to receive emails related to changes with a Lumen® 1+ Switched and Toll Free service. For example, you can list email addresses for people in your organization that want to be notified of port‑out requests for toll‑free numbers or people who would like to receive copies of toll‑free inventory or port‑status reports you're creating. As your needs change, you can also edit the contacts listed or remove contacts who no longer need to receive notifications (including turning off notifications for a specific group type).

To add contacts for your organization:

  1. Click Services.

    Control Center shows the Services console. Use the console to access an inventory of your services, check the status of orders, and manage your services.

  1. Click the menu icon (), click Customer, then click Customer Search.

  1. (Waiting for confirmation on this step based on how portal will work.) Search for customer number you want to manage contacts for, then double-click on the row for the customer number.
  1. Click the Customer Contacts tab.

    Control Center lists the contacts (if any) for 1+ Switched and Toll Free notifications for your organization (by group type).

    • Reports: Contacts listed for this type will receive an email with copies of reports (if you select the Customer Contacts box is when creating a report).

    • Order Confirm: Contacts listed for this type will receive an email for updates on toll‑free orders including scheduled order completion, international order confirmations, and international order activations.

    • Port‑In: Contacts listed for this type will receive an email for requests to port toll‑free numbers to Lumen‑‑including rejections on port requests and final notice reminders to submit a new LOA (letter of authorization) request on a previously rejected toll‑free number.

    • Port‑Out: Contacts listed for this type will receive an email when Lumen receives a request to port out toll‑free numbers associated with this customer number. When you receive the email, use the link in the email to approve or request the port request. If you don't review the request, Lumen will automatically process the port on the date listed in the email.

  1. Click + Add Row.

  1. From the Group Type list, select the type of contact(s) you want to add.
  1. In the Email IDs field, type the email address(es) you want to Lumen to send emails to for the group type you selected. (Separate addresses with a comma—e.g., john.smith@company.com,jane.baker@company.com.)
  1. Repeat steps 7 and 8 to add contacts for more group types. When you're done, click Save.

    Control Center saves the contacts.
  1. To close the window, click the × in the upper-right corner.
