Kate Johnson joined Lumen in 2022 and is the current President and CEO. She is a seasoned technology innovator with a proven track record of driving business transformation success at many of the world’s top Fortune 100 technology companies.
 

From 2017-2021 Ms. Johnson served as President of Microsoft U.S. a division of Microsoft Corporation. From 2013-2017 she held various senior positions at GE Digital including Executive Vice President and Corporate Officer. She served as the Senior Vice President for North America Technology and Government Consulting at Oracle from 2007-2013 and as the Vice President of Global Services and Strategic Accounts for Red Hat from 2004-2007.
 

Ms. Johnson began her career in 1993 as a management consultant at Deloitte focused on large-scale business and digital transformation across a variety of industries. In 2000 she joined UBS Investment Bank where she held multiple technology roles, ultimately serving as Managing Director and Division Chief Information Officer of their investment banking division.
 

Ms. Johnson currently serves on the public company board of UPS. She joined the Board in 2022.
