Lumen help
Media portal provides secure and private access to view and download invoices, run network traffic and performance reports, open trouble tickets, and more:
Reporting—historical usage reporting and real-time traffic statistics for caching, streaming, and storage; network performance data
Managing CDN services—configure and activate your caching configurations; invalidate content
Invoicing—manage and pay invoices or open a dispute
Ticketing—submit trouble tickets
You will receive your portal credentials when Lumen activates the first CDN service you ordered.
We designate one user—typically your technical contact—as the first delegated administrator for Media portal. Use this administrator account to create additional user accounts and assign permissions.
To manage your Media portal account profile, you need to sign in to Media Portal. Head over to mediaportal.lumen.com, and use your portal credentials to sign in and access the Media portal.
If you have lost your portal credentials, you can reset your Media portal password by clicking on “Forgot your password?” link, and following the on-screen instructions. Media portal will then an email with a password reset link to the email address you specified, which you can use to set a new password for your portal account and sign in.
If your contact information changes, you can update your Media portal profile so we're able to contact you about your services. Simply click on the “Hello” button on the top right corner of the page to navigate to your profile, where you can update your information. On this page, you can also check your Media portal permissions and the access groups you have access to for your organization. Media portal lists your permission for Vyvx and/or CDN. If you have access to both services, use the tabs to toggle between them so you can review your permissions.
By default, the timeout setting is set to 15 minutes (after which you're signed out automatically). If you're working in Media Portal for long periods of time with occasional periods of inactivity, you can change your session timeout setting so you don't need to sign in repeatedly. To do so, navigate to your Media portal profile and click on the “Configure Timeout” button and select your session timeout setting.
Help for creating and managing Media Portal users can be found in the User management section.
